Norman “Binz” DeWalch

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Binz began his career by co-founding DeWalch Technologies, where he has remained actively involved since its inception. Binz is the inventor or co-inventor of over 100 issued or pending U.S. and international patents spanning locking devices, molecular biology research tools, firearm technologies, and natural gas-to-liquid hydrocarbon conversion. Binz holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in energy and fluid systems.

In addition to leading all aspects of DeWalch Technologies, including domestic and international sales, he brings deep expertise in the design and development of Fischer-Tropsch and chemical process equipment, automated machinery, manufacturing systems, electronics, industrial products, software and databases, and molecular biology equipment. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and conversant in French.

His community involvement includes serving on several volunteer boards, and as an assistant Scoutmaster for eight years with Boy Scout Troop 354 at St. Martin’s Church.
